New Assistant Manager and First Intra-squad Friendly

After a search for an Assistant-manager which was an open vacancy, I decided to offer a contract to Mark Proctor, a 55 year old British man and he has accepted my offer to take the job after a few days of thinking about it.

Meet my new Assistant Manager below.
I wanted someone that had good coaching rating in which Mr.Proctor  has in 15 attacking and 11 defending. On top of that he has 17 in working with youngster which is great since I have a couple promising 18 years old.

INTRA-SQUAD FRIENDLY

I also played my first intra squad friendly between my regular squad going against the under-23 team. The regular squad won 4-1 which was very pleasing and it look like my players are adjusting well to the new 4-3-3 Barca formation.

My striker Simeone Jackson was the player of the match and managed to get on the scoring sheet.
The other 3 goal scorers were Frank Moussa, Andreas Makris and Goerge Dobson. Joseph Cairns managed to score for the U-23 team.

On a sad note, my projected inside right winger Kieron Morris was hurt and is expected to miss 4 weeks which is not bad  since he should be back before opening day.

Meet my Walsall players and 4-3-3 Tactic

This Walsall team that I've inherited is a strong squad with a good diversity of skill-sets, so I've decided to go with the 4-3-3 Barca-esque tactics to try to dominate possession of the ball and hopefully win the Sky Bet League-one.

Walsall is currently without an assistant coach and I will have to hire one soon, but in the main time, Dean Holder, a regular coach has assessed to me the best starting 11 under my favorite 4-3-3 tactic.

My Best players with 4 stars that I will be counting on

Adam Chambers is a veteran defensive midfielder and he's also my current captain

Isaiah Osbourne is a 28 year old midfielder who can also play DM

James O'Connor is a determined veteran central back

Andreas Makris is a 20 year old from Cypris and plays as a winger.

Having bough Football Manager 2017, I've decided that I would document my first career journey on this blog and see how it goes.

As the first woman manager in English football named Maria Rodriguez, I was hired by Walsall who currently plays in the Sky Bet League-One, England third tier division league, 2 division down from the prestigious Barkley's Premiere League.

Walsall FC came into existence in 1888 and is well known as "The Saddlers." The team currently plays in the Sky Bet League-one and barely missed promotion into the Championship during last term, so the pressure will be on me to at the very least, finish at the top-half of the table.

Walsall FC currently plays their home game at "The Bescot Stadium" and their training ground is known as "The Essington Training Ground." The team last trophy was raised in 2007 when they won the Sky Bet League 2, England 4th-tier league.
