2020/21 Season New Arrivals

After finishing 10th in last year Premiere League campaign, I was given more than $60M in transfer budget by the new owner to buy and try to improve the squad. My expectation for this year is to make an attempt at top 5 and European Football, but would be satisfied to stay clear out of relegation zone.

My early expectation of the season is to have a good start in compare to my previous 2 years in the Premiere League where we started poorly.....Below are the new arrivals for my Walsall team...I had to over-pay to get some of these guys in the door since my team is not well known.

Rodri - DM/CM - $19.75M
Spanish midfielder who played in Belgium top league. Probably overpaid for this guy but felt I really needed to get a more talented big midfielder with steel. His attributes looks better than Osbourne and Butterfield in many areas

Odsonne Edouard - ST - $23.5M($27.5M)
Big target striker who had a nice year playing for Torino in Italy last year.. Again, had to grossly overpaid for an unknown French striker, but attributes looked great. Odsonne is also competent at playing on both wing which should give me flexibility with Noriega and Clough who can also play through the middle.

Constantin Frommann - GK - $18M
German striker with great sweeper attributes which is exactly the type of GK I was looking for because I play a high defensive line. Paid $18M but he's very young and could improve further,

Kortney Hause - CB - $10M
Bringing in another left footed ball-playing central back was one of my main target for the new season and Hause attribute fits the bill. Will compete with Cargill for the left Central back spot.

Louis Schraub - ST/CM/AM.L.R - $7M.
Schraub can basically play all over the field, so I should be able
to fill this guy in the line-up with ease. His price tag was very cheap and him being a left footed attacker helps since I do look to have a balance attack.

Vlad Dragomir - AMC/ CM - Loan
Vlad will be coming back for a second stint at the club, having done well enough to merit a second look. He set up 4 goals last year while making 30 appearances on all competition and scoring 1 lone goal. Made 13 Premiere League starts and 11 off the bench.
This year, I'm expecting a bit more and a few more goals.

Walsall FC New Arrival for 2019/2020 Campaign

With a transfer budget of about $35M pound, I was able to bring in new players to help me improve on last year Premiere League successful campaign after fending off expected relegation, to finish in 16th place on 43 points. This year, we are hoping to do better.

Almany Toure: $15M pound Right Back
Largest transfer Fee spent on a player by Walsall so far. Can also play at CB where I will use him in a 3 central formation.

Zach Clough: $5.75M Pound Striker
Tried to buy him from MLS outfit Atlanta during my year in the Championship but failed, Got him this year for the Premiere League and his stats looks good as a skillful deep lying striker on 1 of my formation. Currently injured and as unfortunately shown to be injury-prone.

Paul Dummett: $375K Left Back
Paul is also familiar in playing CB and will also be an option for selection there under my 3 CB formation. Will compete against Brad Smith for the LB job.

(Previous Loan)Ryan Gauld: $8M Pound Central Midfielder
Brought back Ryan  as a full own player from Sporting CP, after he spent last year with me on loan. Played well enough to warrant spending the 8M pound and bring him back as a full time player. Needed a left footed CM so had to buy him.

Brad Shaun Smith: $2.3M Pound Left Back
Brad had been on loan at Walsall for the past 3 years since my arrival in League 1, so he's been here from the start. His previous parent team Bournemouth had loaned him to Walsall for 3 years and he had managed to improved as Walsall climbed all the way to the Premiere League. This year, we decided to fully buy him from Bournemouth.

Bradley Gilbey: Free Transfer  Central Back
Was previously on Arsenal youth system. Very good attributes so when he decided to not sign with Arsenal, decided to offer a contract sheet alongside many other Championship team. Accepted my offer. Promised him I will give him Cup games + a few extra games to prove himself.

Vlad Dragomir: Advanced CM(Loan-Arsenal)
Needed an extra left footed modified player and Vlad looks more than adequate. Spent last year on loan at Nottm Forest, a Championship outfit and he managed 8 goals and 10 assist while there with a 6.91 league match rating.

Tammy Abraham: Striker/Forward On Loan from Chelsea.
Last year, Bagged 8 goals on 40 appearances and 14 starts with Championship outfit Cardiff F.C.
At 6'4, Tammy offers me a taller target among all my striker option, but he can also play out wide on either side and has good pace.
